You have a strong work ethic and can work independently.

Your ability to manage time effectively will enable you to work on numerous projects simultaneously. You can also meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.

You are able to take projects from client brief to final delivery while maintaining the highest level of care throughout each phase.

You are eager to work with our established processes and procedures. You are willing to learn and adopt new methods (possibly different from your experience) to sustain the level of excellence that our clients have come to expect.

Qualifications:

• 3- or 4-year degree or diploma in graphic design
• Minimum of 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a design firm environment
• Extensive experience in annual reports and publications – pre-requisite
• Experience in design and development of brands and websites – essential
• Knowledge of motion graphics – valuable
• Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat)
• Proficient in web (knowledge of best practices, image optimization, responsive design/programming, HTML5 and CSS, Mailchimp and Constant Contact)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ability to read from Excel documents
• Excellent command of Mac platform
• Good understanding of AODA graphic design best practices
• Experience working with illustrators, photographers, suppliers and external printers
• Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills - required
• RGD designation – asset
• References – required
